REQ: 2x Parked RAF Sentinals AM wed 14/6
Hi All
Quick passing visit yesterday morning for the new rivet joint. Also seen were 2x Sentinals, can anyone provide the registrations of the two parked all gray Sentinals.
Also at the heli pad was a Black or Blue and white Helicopter. I assume this is a based machine but was nose on. Reg please.
Thanks Andy H

not very often you see logs posted for Waddington anymore unlike the days when Rick sleight used to post daily logs
just seems to be the camera gang up there these days, I've stopped going up there now.

The Green and white MD Explorer is G-SASR from Specialist Aviation Services.
Its been here since at least Tuesday, that I know of as part of the change over from the MD Explorer that Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance have been using to the new AW169.
One of the Sentinels would likely be ZJ690 as that has been flying this week and was in the practice for the Queens birthday flypast on Tuesday. As for the other no idea sorry

It is Normally 690 that I have seen this year, I've seen 691 maybe twice and 693 still with five sqd fighter bar on tail once.....
I would say your two were 90/91.

Thankyou for all your posts, but unless ZJ690 has been resprayed it cant be that one as both were in full gray colours, no red tail stripes.

I stand corrected on closer inspection I can say it's 690 and 694 are the two jets currently active from Waddington

And 690 is in the glossy grey scheme.
I'm not sure if 693 retains the old scheme with the 5 Sqn bars on the tail?
