Airseekers

Post by POL » Fri Feb 17, 2017 11:06 am

Hi all,

Have both RAF Airseekers returned to Waddington? And if so, could anyone confirm their dates of arrival?

Thanks,
Chris

Both arrived on 01/12/16:
ZZ664 as Ascot 7205
ZZ665 as Ascot 9930

ZZ664 was present this morning when I passed by, but I believe ZZ665 is away at the moment.

Chris,

ZZ665 departed Nellis on Saturday 11th Feb as "RAVEN08(?)" heading NE...and stopped plotting over Utah. Haven't seen anything of it since.

Friday 17th February

14.42Z Further to my above, ZZ665 is plotting on ADS-B as crossing Indiana Eastbound at FL270 as "RRR7200".

So looks like it is on its way home, finally.
Cheers, Bob

Hi all,

2 sentinals and 2 rc135s parked half way down the airfield. Could anyone provide the serial numbers?

Hi everyone

Drove past Waddington this afternoon and all three Airseekers are on the deck, two sat together and one sat on a pan a bit further behind.

The Wave looked quite busy as I past.

only 2 visible this morning, one side on to tower, appears to be parked closer to A15 than normal, one nose on in normal place.

Both in normal marks so 665/666.
