Weekend Flying,

Post by Al dunn » Fri Feb 02, 2018 1:59 pm

Does weekend flying still happen at these bases.

I am travelling Nth on the 4th Mar and was going to make a detour past, if it was worth while.

I will be on the A1 or A15 so diverting is no problem.

Regards

Al

AEF only for RAFAC; that's if they get their act in order. Not flown for past couple of weekends.

Al

Might be worth liking the 7 AEF page on Facebook, they usually update if there is likely to be flying each weekend.

Below is there info from this weekend

OUTLOOK FOR SAT/SUN 3/4 FEB 18

Not the best forecast for the weekend at the moment I am afraid!

Sun looks like being a showery day, but I am hopeful we can get some flying in.

Sat is a problem, as the flying will depend on how far a weather front progresses to the east before returning west. Based on current information, the forecaster is pessimistic about the chances of flying tomorrow.

I will not cancel yet, but check back here tomorrow before setting off for the airfield.
