As tweeted by OC2FTS; very near to restoring Vigilant ops albeit initially with one airframe at RAF Syerston, should be next week.

Still a few months away before they start flying normally, last I heard was April 2015. Even then it will be a gradual return to normal flying as the instructors each need checking out to fly. Thought Abingdon was one of the first to resume normal ops, excluding Syerston who are of course the HQ, and whom you would expect to fly first being the HQ.

For those of you who may have missed it, the first "recovered" Vigilant returned to the skies on Friday.
