REQ info on Phantom XT891

Hi
I'm looking for anybody that can advise if XT891 was ever near the main gate in the grey body & blue tail scheme before it was put on display in camo scheme?
Can anyone confirm when it was actually painted into camo?

No, it was repainted in camo and displayed in the static at the airshow (in 1992) before going on gate guardian duties

Hi...The aircraft came into Coningsby in 1992 from Wattisham as a grey machine having previously flown with the phantom training flight and 74 squadron with a black and tiger tail, I have several slides of XT891 taken in the 80's and 90's none of which show a blue tail

hi nichnt the following pic was taken at the 1992 show before xt891 was placed on the gate,as can be seen already in camo paint.
