Coningsby is open as of 08th Jan but 08th-11th the field is closed between 0700-0900 and on 12th Jan 0700-0800

Completely open outside of those hours? I’ve just taken leave at work to go up on 10th so don’t want to waste a journey if im reading it wrong and it’s just outright closed until 12th

You are pretty much correct, mate. There won't be any scheduled movements from Coningsby before 0900 local on those dates but should be normal flying thereafter - however - that doesn't mean you're going to see wall to wall action though.

LARS is unavailable because the station is closed during the stated times. Every time they post a airbase closed NOTAM they will also post a LARS unavailable too.

Good stuff! I don't mind if it's not wall to wall - Coningsby is always my favourite place to go! I was planning on getting there for about 0900 anyway so that's all good with me! Thanks for confirming. I used to be very active on the aviation side of things but it's taken a back seat for the last few years with work etc, there was a time I could read a NOTAM just like that and understand it completely without even thinking about it, going to have to get practiced in this stuff again!!
