Hi
Just for info , the P-8A belongs to VP-5 Mad Foxes ... not VP-46 Grey Knights who still have P-3Cs

Thanks for the clarification and tie up on the P8 Paul. Confusingly this years edition of MAM has this aircraft listed as operated by VP-46.

Re: AIR COMBAT POWER VISIT (ACPV) 2017
Is the Prefect still in - can't find it , perhaps it is hidden behind the bug stuff?
Re: AIR COMBAT POWER VISIT (ACPV) 2017
It has not left as far as I'm aware. So it is most likely still hangared from the weekend.
Re: AIR COMBAT POWER VISIT (ACPV) 2017

Re: AIR COMBAT POWER VISIT (ACPV) 2017
The Tucano has departed
( Had a text quoting MSF saying that the Prefect and ZK375 are at the Eastern end of the 29sqn hangar - I couldn't find an angle)

Re: AIR COMBAT POWER VISIT (ACPV) 2017
I "searched" for the Prefect and the third Typhoon (ZK375) yesterday on a brief 30 minute visit (by bus from Lincoln) but couldn't find them or the Tucano, Tutor or Cobham Falcon 20. I now know why having seen a photograph on one of the Facebook sites - all of these are/were parked between the 29 and 41 Sqdn hangars so the view down there is obscured by the C130J, Lightning, Puma and Chinook! The Typhoon is tail on to the the 29 Sqdn hangar (north end) with the Falcon 20 tail on to the same hangar (south end). The Prefect was facing the 29 Sqdn hangar on the 41 Sqdn side of the taxiway. Could anyone else who visited yesterday confirm whether my eyes were dece
iving me as I thought that I also saw in the distance (down near the eastern threshold of the runway) a second Atlas tail? No binoculars with me so everything was seen with Mk1 eyeballs only! Cheers

Re: AIR COMBAT POWER VISIT (ACPV) 2017
Was looking at attending on Sunday past with a colleague, but the morning weather put me off.
He decided to go and got some good images of the Typhoon, with the atmospherics just right for the air fluff on the wings.
Memo to self - don't be put off by the weather at the time...
