Richard
Any ideas behind the day's aborts?
Critically observing Pension regulatory activity... :D

Not sure, one of the aborts re-taxied and took off but the others, no idea. I was struggling trying to hear all the comms over the jet noise as it was so busy.

With regard to aborts, if you have the various Squadrons "ops" frequencies turned on then you can hear both sides of fault conversation, and hence know exactly why flight is aborted.

Heard the jengo's on the radio giving advice on the abort problems. This seemed to involve a lot of soft key punching and usual reset elementary stuff ect. They eventually gave up and suggested they had run out of ideas for a flight line fix. Yes it was busy and difficult to hear com's today.
I was also on the mound today. Green flight jacket with a NASA badge in the morning. Italy football tee shirt in the afternoon ! I did not realise I was in the presence of the indestructible one ! Would have been nice to exchange greetings. Perhaps we should wear alias badges !
"A Rhubarb" is a sortie of opportunity !
