Flying W/c 19/03/18

Post by Imac » Wed Mar 21, 2018 10:03 am

Hi guys,

I am on holiday near Woodbridge and was expecting to see AAC Apaches flying, but to date nothing. I have not seen anything showing ADS B. Does anyone have an update on the flying for this week?

Thanks
Ian Mc

Short answer no, but some days they are busy and then you don't see any for a while. Unpredictable is the only description that comes to mind! Sorry can't be more specific.

Thanks ‘Snoop’

Got a pair of Tornados up in the dark. First activity I have had here since we arrived last week. Most disappointed☹️

You are possibly just as likely to see a SOG Osprey from Mildenhall in that area as they train around the old RAF Woodbridge regularly.

Thanks again ‘Snoop’

I have seen the Ospreys and Hercs up out of Mildenhall but they are staying well North of where we are located. Back home tomorrow and not one sighting☹️

Will be calling at Lakenheath & Mildenhall on the way back. Surely better luck then. Thanks for your update.
