Wow.
I expect Marham to be very busy over the next couple of months... (with enthusiasts - not aircraft!)

Agree there MiG Eater.
EGVP, I have a feeling it might be the whole aircraft, as it extends past the tail in the image, if you look near the bottom.

Do you think we'll see it in the Loop?.................
Re: Another Marham special scheme
More importantly.... didn't see where it says it's an airframe with flying hours left on it? Nightmares of the 'Tiger Phantom' at Wotashame still bother me!
Re: Camo Tornado Revealed
for me personally James the green/grey camo scheme was the preferred one, and for those who can remember the 75th Anniversary schemes at the Boscombe Down IAT in 1990 - NICE!!

Nice to see it, and being only 21, I never got to see the proper camo tornado's, so I'm happy

Re: Camo Tornado Revealed
Now THAT would be nice!!!
Re: Another Marham special scheme
It should be ZG752 (was one of the RAF 100 red tail decal aircraft last year) - or at least I think that that was the plan, if so it's still got a few hours left on the airframe.
Re: Camo Tornado Revealed
You're missing the point here! Much better to have an extremely limited number of persons given paid-access for a single non-flying day event at Marham, then quickly sweep the Tornado under the carpet!
Having the Tornado limp along for another couple of months would be too much, given the mahoosive number of shiny Lightning II's available to take-over?

Tail and spine then, like the other specials, which is what I meant in the first place I just wasn't very clear - sorry!James Cutting wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 11:36 amEGVP, I have a feeling it might be the whole aircraft, as it extends past the tail in the image, if you look near the bottom.
