Batch 2 question

Post by slogen51 » Tue Jul 24, 2018 2:29 pm

Is the next batch (of five?) crossing by ship or tanked across like last time?

Tanker, I don't think any are actually coming by ship - probably a bit of misinformation/rumour taken as fact!

I've heard the same, though it may well have come from the same original source as your info, Mike.

Oh well, let's look out for Westbound Voyagers over the weekend, with "RRR9xxx" callsigns.
Cheers, Bob

Word at Marham families day says early next week. So at a guessing tanker(s) out on Sunday and ALTRV posted Monday

Look East has just mentioned "next week" for the arrival of the next batch in a report on Chuckie's visit.

Apparently one of the five is ZM137 which was at RIAT in 2016 - the next £50 million hangar queen?

Would have thought some Voyagers should be heading west by now if the F-35 are flying over on Tuesday.

The tracking threads are now active, well the main one is locked at the moment  No point in getting to multiple pages before the jets have departed the US.

Tuesday, this thread along with the ALTRV when it get posted and any in the Marham section will be locked, so all the info will be in one place.

I've been switched from day to the vampire shifts. So hopefully some of the other mods will be about to keep order

Is anyone able to advise if there will be any special parking arrangements for viewing the arrival of this batch, as there were for the first?
Thanks, Freeman

Don't shoot the messenger but heard a rumour suggesting arrival may have slipped to Friday. Sorry don't have anymore details at the moment.
