Re: Hunter in for paint
I think you might be disappointed then
Re: Hunter in for paint
Expect I will lol. Although a nice overall black should be acceptable to all concerned, with r/w/b roundels :>)
Re: Hunter in for paint
Which shade of overall Tornado Grey is your favourite? Remember they'll have thousands of litres of it & next to no Tornado jets to paint!
Might get a bonus '100 Year' sticker too? Yaaaaayy

I really like that. It may not be authentic but it's not operated as a historical artifact after all.
Re: Hunter in for paint
I guess there was a commercial need for this colour, doesn't look too bad, wonder if it will be one of the pair they bring to RIAT Next week?
Chances are it will be.

Reminds me a little bit of the Viggen splinter scheme.Sorry not for me though - it doesn't suit the Hunter's beautiful lines.

Like it. Looks like it's doing a job, rather then being a museum piece.
Re: Hunter in for paint
Agree with Nighthawke that the paint scheme does not suit the Hunter.

Re: Hunter in for paint
i agree with Thunderbolt II,i like the scheme but wether you like it or not one of our classic types is still flying and not festering in a museum somewhere.
Re: Hunter in for paint
