According to the BBC there is a northerly wind until about 18:00, so runway 01, but after that it swings round more to the east, so possible they could use 06.
Hope that helps - good luck anyway, TM74

They can't use 06 as it doesn't exist any more.

Should the 5th June thread be locked now?

Not really! You're not allowed to ask questions about which runway suits the wind direction on the other Topic.
But there again any weather chart shows north/north easterlies at 10 Knots indicating r/w '01' + full sun from 5 - 9pm

Info I had from https://airportguide.com/airport/info/KNF#runways said:-

Runway 06/24 9140 ft x 200 ft (2786 m x 61 m)
Runway Length Source: as of
Surface: Asphalt -
Runway Pavement Class:
Runway Edge Lights: Yes Intensity

etc.

Has it become 05/23 recently?

Cheers, TM74

No it is still 06/24 but currently closed to be revamped for F-35 ops. 01/19 is the current operational runway.

Many thanks - I didn't really think that 06 had been completely dug-up, or moved, but best to check!

So now we have 4 F-35's when do we all think they'll start regular training flights?
