Thanks for the update. Any idea what the future holds for her assuming she's not roaded to Leeming?Integrale1 wrote:ZA560 E-BQ, 050 withdrawn from use, no longer an active airframe.
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

Re: Tornado GR4 Fleet General Info
Haven’t heard what’s happening to it as of yet.
It’s either going to RTP or to be museum prepped
I’ll update when I find out.
I’m certain 070 still has all its 41 sqn markings still on it, it certainly did when I saw it last week

Not seen much info on a few more aircraft now withdrawn:
ZA447, ZA459 & ZD711 - 2 being prepared for road move to Cosford very shortly with the other rumoured to be going for GI at Honington...not sure which is which.
ZA560 currently being prep'd for road move to Wittering for ground instruction.
ZA267, ZA469 & ZA549 stored in 1 hangar

Re: Tornado GR4 Fleet General Info
Apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong thread but seems relevant to Tornado draw-down/disposal/preservation etc. In the last few days ZA398 and one of the Manston F3s (not sure which) were spotted on low loaders "heading north". Destination uncertain but hopefully a more salubrious fate than that in store for them at Manston!
