F35s going to Duxford this weekend?

Post by F1inshot » Fri Sep 21, 2018 10:45 am

Anyone got any idea when the F35s will take off for Duxford this weekend? I am desperate for a shot or two for my 2019 calendar. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am unable to make it to the air show but could get to Mariam. thanks AT

The Lancaster, Hurricane and Spitfire are due at Duxford 14:54 Saturday and 15:00 Sunday.

If it follows the same pattern as RIAT, the Gr4 and F35 will meet up with the Lancaster once the BBMF display is complete.

I'd aim to be there from 2pm each day, earlier if you can.

They were in close formation at one point, run in the house to get the camera and they then left the circuit! Currently holding above Haverhill area as Lancaster is circling Dux at 700 ft.

Dave did a slow pass with everything open and down. Not quite hovering.
