Orion parked near the G2's

On Wednesday 11th Oct there was a P3 coded 610 parked near the two Gulfstreams
Can anyone throw any light on the ID of this aircraft

Unfortunately the serial you are quoting is/was a USN A7 Corsair

That is not a serial number , I think you will find it is the FC message number :Oops:

Rob1958,

I see that you have not yet accumulated the 5 posts necessary for new members to gain access to the "Heads Up" section (where that link led to), so......

In a nutshell, the serial of your P-3 is unknown - and will remain so barring about a several million-to-one chance. The reason being that the P-3SPAs of VPU-2 never divulge their true identity and masquerade as other P-3s.

You might like to have a look at http://www.p3orion.nl/sneaky.html which will give you more background information on such machines.
