Greyhounds in the Hall

Post by Suffolkchief » Sun Jul 23, 2017 9:33 pm

Hi

My first ever post so appologies if I do something wrong :)
Was locking up a little while ago when two unusual turboprops flew over on RW 29 approach. It was dark so couldn't identify them visually.
Checked Planeplotter log and it reported them as C2 Greyhounds with the following serials:

162148
162159

Apologies I was forgetting the 5 post rule for new members! It basically goes on to say that the serials showing on various plotters are incorrect and should be 162159/46 & 162168/45
Cheers
Mark

If they want to get drenched - yes. It is totally vile here - and will be all day according to the BBC forecast.

Cheers Paddy, but will they be there on Tuesday...here's hoping :Wow:
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Does anyone know where the Greyhounds are currently parked (Wednesday night) - I am overnighting locally and would like to try and see them before I have to head home. With thanks in advance!

Near the tower. From John's Field, one is side-on (46) and the other is tail-on (45).

Thanks again Bob, I detoured and delayed for half hour or so this morning and spotted the two Greyhounds (only just - the sun was in the worst possible place from my ex-crash gate vantage point!). Also rewarded with a great view of an RC135W and MC130 taking off. All the best, Dan
