nice to meet some of you especially those that came to say thanks.

it was funny when loads of cars suddenly departed the nook campsite to get to the 29 end when they changed runway.

sorry to see some cars parked on the field your supposed to drive around when at the nook..john was not pleased.

Many thanks Usernamegoes here for the good info. Although I apologised to John at the time, I feel I should also apologise to him again and the group for being culpable to parking in said field. I saw someone had parked there and stopped next to him, mistakenly assuming it was ok to do so. When the exodus took place due to the runway change, my car was left in the spotlight, so to speak. I can assure John and all that the mistake will not be repeated.

That is probably the best place. Tail on in a line of twelve.

From Folly they are more side on but you can only see the uppermost fuselages.

When did they go please? Presume KC-10s 79-1946 Clean 01 & 86-0034 Clean 91 were the tankers used to support this trail eastbound from UK.

Cheers

Some YouTubes form the landings

KC 10 Extender (Clean 91) A-10 support landing (HD): https://youtu.be/k7RSE2TZmhQ
Tabor 41 - 43 A-10 landing (HD): https://youtu.be/k7RSE2TZmhQ

First ever videos - next time I need a Dougal to cover the mics.
