Request Mildenhall KC135 and French Helo's

Post by Tiger 1 » Wed Apr 26, 2017 11:31 am

Hi everyone

Had a quick drive by Mildenhall this morning enroute to Lakenheath snd noted the following KC135's parked by the tower.

23543 departing
23513
80077
?????
?????
?????
C130 ( RS )

Looked for the French Helicopters but not seen...if anyone could help with the missing serials of the KC135s and any info on where the French are parked up it would be very much apprecited.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Hi T1,

French are on H/S 26. Need to view from Northside. Park in the 1st road on right going into Beck Row (from Mildenhall) and walk back until the fence is low enough. Then look straight across at the hangars towards the right.

Your missing KC-135s are 71461, 23514 and 23541. C-130J is 68610/RS

Cheers,

Bob

Thanks Bob, greatly appreciated. May I add that everyone I met and chatted to on my annual pilgimage to Lakenheath and Mildenhall from the West Country were all very friendly and helpful.

No problem, Tim. :)

I'm up here for three weeks - sitting in my caravan on John's Field at present, nice and warm, looking out at the persisting rain.
Cheers, Bob
