F22s

Post by TombsRIP » Thu Apr 20, 2017 3:45 pm

Has there been some some sort of "moratorium" placed on posting info regarding the F22 movements or am I looking in the wrong place?? Presume the pair that arrived yesterday have now gone and the rest have now arrived??? Any info would be very much appreciated.

Cheers

PS I've checked the Daily Log section and last entry was early March this year.

PPS think a USMC KC130J dep late morning 165810 off ModeS.

I believe so, but this is the USAF!!

The postings are being buried in Tanker trails

Not helpful when it's a 464 mile round trip to see the blighters.

See the threads within the OTT section for detailed info. However the two that arrived yesterday left today and another two arrived today.

I found some stuff regarding these in the Heads Up section but from what I can gather 2 have gone and 2 more have arrived today. Not sure when these are departing - I'm also contemplating a longish round-trip to come and see them so keen to try and find out!!

Probably worth the trip as two more are rumoured to arrive Friday and you still have eight F-35's in the 'Heath!

That's why I've been itching to go all week! Think I might be too restless at work tomorrow anyway!

If it's the same schedule as today it will be 2 out at lunchtime and another 2 or maybe the remaining 4 in later in the afternoon tomorrow.

There is no westbound Shanwick ALTRV posted for tomorrow (Friday) yet. It's no guarantee, but odds are against these two departing tomorrow unless you hear anything more believable to the contrary.

Not heard or seen an ALTRV for the homebound leg to the U.S but could still see the remaining 4 F-22's arrive at Mildenhall tomorrow if we're lucky :thumb:

Agreed, however we got at least 8hrs notice today that they were on their way. Someone on here picked them up leaving Al Udeid at 0515 our time, so enough time to travel 232 miles. :thumb:

I left Mildenhall at aprox 16:30 & there were 2 x "AK" F-22s on the ramp near 63-8033, Fairchild tanker... serials needed please.

Also 165810 C-130 was back on the ramp near the same area.

From the thread within the Heads Up/OTT section the F-22's are quoted as 07-4149 and 07-4150.
