no flying at Lakenheath this week tuesday and wednesday?

just seen a couple of people post on some social media sites that there will be no flying on wednesday and tuesday of this week? just wanted to see if there was any truth to this due to thinking of coming down to watch them for the day...thanks in advanced :roll:

Have you got a link to this information as I have not seen anything posted regards no flying on these days on facebook or twitter?
I can imagine if it’s business as usual tomorrow it would be very busy at spotters corner so it might be some folk wanting to keep the numbers down so they can get in there and have it all to themselves...

As at 22.00BST, there is no such relevant NOTAM for Lakenheath - or Mildenhall for that matter.

Both bases would have said on there Facebook pages if they were closed they normally do.

I can’t see why they wouldn’t fly the next couple of days. Tomorrow may be a classroom day for the Raptor guys but they usually get going straight away. They’ll be wanting to do some sightseeing...

Good morning folks, now at the Heath and can see a 15 outside it’s shelter with canopy open. Looks like business as usual...

if spare crews flew in earlier surely they will want to get up as soon as the aircraft are sorted.

Thanks guy's down at the viewing area now :) it was just a couple of people commenting saying it was closed today/tomorrow but they must not know their facts... it was just a long journey and didnt want to chance getting here and not seeing anyting

The two Aviano F16's from the Buzzards landed at 09:00 L, definitely open but no further activity at 10:00.
