4 Chinooks heading 'north' - anyone know where/why/etc

Post by Musket MacThirle » Mon Jun 25, 2018 1:12 pm

Hi, just got back from Pangbourne where I saw 4 Chinooks heading 'north' in formation ~13:55. I assume they came from RAF Odiham but could be wrong.
I don't suppose anyone has any details on where they are off to, which ones they where etc?

I’ve just seen 6 Chinooks and 3 Pumas in formation over Abingdon heading for Brize with another Puma presumably a photoship / whipper-in.

Any further details very welcome.

They were seen flying over Fairford at 15:07 in formation then turned east.
Any tie ups much appreciated.
