No idea on type but confirmed ,as 0SY33T was heard on brize director at the time of your posting ,not sure how long it's staying though.

OSY33x is usually Russian. As a 727 looks rather different from an An-30, I dare say someone needs a trip to Specsavers!

Thanks for that info,at the time,it was a gess that it may have been a 727 :roll: but know I have been told it's an an-30 of Russian af then that is completely different to a 727 :lol: ..
An-30 is beter than a 727 anyway .....

Last time it was over, I seem to recall that someone posted that it had no Mode-S - but I may be wrong. :unsure:

Bit late I know, but I heard a very loud turboprop at approx 1250 on the 24th April heading East just south of Chivenor. In the distance it popped out of cloud and it looked like an Antonov, so I guess it was the OSY.

I saw a white 4 engine plane heading towards Brize area today,looked a bit like a An-12,anyone know if there is one there,id have a drive up if I knew.
