What I guess was the same Norwegian SAR Merlin flew over Chard in Somerset this morning at around 1130-1145.

No photo unfortunately, as I was in work.
ZZ105 was on the ramp at 08:45 this morning. We're getting very close to a year since the last newbuild military first flight.

It certainly feels like that, but wasn't ZZ104 f/f 17.01.18 and ZZ105 f/f 9.7.18?

AW101 0268

It has now been finally clarified that the new rescue helicopter, which was damaged at Sola last November, will be repaired at the Yeovil factory.
It is estimated that the Leonardo AW101 0268 will be fully repaired within approx 6 months and that it will be back at Sola during the summer of 2019.

Interesting post Freeman. Is ZR358 a new aircraft, I've not come across that one?

Hi Judwin,
Yes, I believe so. It looked as though the fire crews were on hand prior to a potential ground run. It was in the colours of the previous Caesar examples.

I've done a little bit of research which suggests the Italian's ordered 12 HH-101A with an option on 3 more.
6 have already been delivered from Westland so, assuming that none have been built in Italy, we can look forward to another batch of at least 6.

Hi Keith,
I don't think AW.101s are built in Italy any longer, so any new ones should appear here. Malcolm has already pointed out 6 missing construction numbers in the build sequence shown on UK Serials...
Ciao, Freeman

Noted from Morrisons... a 109 dropping in to the field at just after11am this morning... colour scheme mostly White with red door.

Any serial tie up would be very much appreciated.
