Possibly ZA149 "KAYAK61", and ZA150 "?", but not 100% sure.

According to my SBS box, one of them was ZA149. They certainly looked splendid over Somerset in their tight formation.

As said above it would have been Kayak Formation who were due up from Brize to do some airways training today. So too and from Brize.

Ah, maybe I mis-heard and it was "Air to Air training" and not airways training .

Yep...
assume they would have their airways training when they learn to fly two engine types.

AARA11 is booked this week too

There has been a lot of jet noise over Melksham today but I could not see any thing due to cloud cover just poped out in the garden as I heard some Jet noise and saw two VC10's in Formation agian they where heading towards Lyneham so I guss they are just reterning to Brize.

Noisy heavy jets went over me heading southwest at around that time, guess it was them as they normally route over me heading for the ARA'S

Thanks
