Busy day

Post by madbat666 » Tue Nov 22, 2011 3:22 pm

Whilst doing work at home had the scanner on and noted the following

Yankee 1 10 40 am on route Plymouth
Helimed 04a 10 40 am on callout to Paracombe
Helimed 01a 11 14 am on routed to North Devon Hospital
SG169 11 17 am training
Marine 626 14 00
Westland 31 14 00 departing south east
and a visual on an Augusta a109 light coloured but did not have the scanner on.

if anyone can shed any light on the red call signs for my log I would be greatfull.
Regards
Mark

Hi Mb666,
The only thing I saw today was a Lynx Mk.7 in/out a couple of times , I think it landed on Lundy this afternoon , I think the c/s was "Yeti 1" , this was possibly your "Yankee 1". I live in Braunton & it flew directly overhead me inbound to Chiv. this afternoon so I couldn't read any serial/code .

Hi all,
"Special 21" has just done an ILS here (1610) & operated around the airfield for about 5-10 minutes before departing towards the Bideford direction . It looked like an EC135 helo . Cheers,Cloudhawk :thumb:
