Comfortably Numb
Re: Scampton Air Show
Is that new to this year then Mark? Both were certainly present at every show I've been to over the years. There is a ''minimum distance from the crowdline'' rule in place but I wasn't aware of a complete banMark wrote:Thank God Steps and Windbreakers are banned from Riat. Another good reason to give Scampton a miss!!

Re: Scampton Air Show
Anybody heard news about arrivals?
Some suggestions that live stuff may fly from Waddo so does this mean a split arrivals between two bases?

Same for the RAF Typhoon.....
Re: Scampton Air Show
Wouldn't surprise me if the amount of Belgian performances in the UK this year is a thank you for the RAFs superb support of Sanicole over the past few years.
Re: Scampton Air Show
The Belgian support to UK shows is always second to none.
Re: Scampton Air Show

Re: Scampton Air Show
Surprised how few aircraft are currently listed for this show, certainly nothing out of the ordinary so far and nothing to tempt me to part with £39!

Re: Scampton Air Show
Maybe you have to support a lack-lustre show this year, so that it will have a future in which it can improve?

It’s not what you look at that matters. It’s what you see.
