Is that new to this year then Mark? Both were certainly present at every show I've been to over the years. There is a ''minimum distance from the crowdline'' rule in place but I wasn't aware of a complete ban

Anybody heard news about arrivals?

Some suggestions that live stuff may fly from Waddo so does this mean a split arrivals between two bases? :S

To be fair, i hardly look behind me at an airshow, but have seen guys on steps in front of me and huge swathes of fenceline taken up by 2 people and several windbreaks at other shows...

There's one down for Skylive at Durham but, that's the only show with one confirmed at the moment.

Wouldn't surprise me if the amount of Belgian performances in the UK this year is a thank you for the RAFs superb support of Sanicole over the past few years.

Surprised how few aircraft are currently listed for this show, certainly nothing out of the ordinary so far and nothing to tempt me to part with £39!

Looks to be shaping up to be the north,s Riat .IE - Very expensive and not much in the way of aircraft, then again what do you expect from a show in the UK these days

Maybe you have to support a lack-lustre show this year, so that it will have a future in which it can improve?

In addition it looks like Scampton has got the only UK appearance of the French Air Force Solo Alpha Jet according to their schedule. See tweet in link below

I take it you've not been to many RIATS lately....or indeed seen the confirmed participants already for this years show!
