USAF visitor 2nd November.

Post by XV370 » Mon Nov 02, 2015 6:35 pm

A nice visitor here late afternoon was USAFE C-21A 40087 which parked by 404 hangar. It looked like it was night stopping. It has been a long time since I have seen one of these here.

Slightly off-topic but two Cobham Falcon 20's departed mid afternoon and the newly based Bristow's S-92 was on a winching / training exercise.

Hi,

I thought heard it departing 16.25, Callsign Falcon 33.

The Falcon's I am sure where G-FRAK Fal20 (Amber2), G-FRAU Fal20 (Pink 1), and the S92 was G-MCGY (CGD924),

It may have departed but when I left just before 4pm the aircrew had decamped the aircraft and were driven off in a minibus with a lot of kit with them
