Are there likely to be any squadrons from Lakenheath or Mildenhall attending the meet to sell their memorabilia?

Typhoon96,
I am always there with Squadron merchandise direct from the 67th SOS. I also have a few items left that I have been selling on behalf of the 56th RQS.
Normally representatives from at least two of the F-15 Squadrons attend and recently we have been joined by personnel from the 100th ARW.
Hope to see you there next week!
JG

This is a request to people who are coming to the patch meet. I know the chap who organises this event all done in his own time, which is superbly organised.
The hall ISN'T FREE and has to be paid for, and last year this was partly out of his pocket.
At one meeting I witnessed some selfish people who just walked in, handed over a wad of cash to the Lakenheath crews and the walked out, not bothering about saying thanks or paying their membership fee.
It isn't much, its either a fiver or tenner i cant remember which. Whatever it is could everone who goes pay their membership, because i doubt this event may run if it ends up costing the kind chap who organises the event again. Its a great event and draws crews and a good amount of collectors who sell all kinds of patches. If you don't pay you run the risk of losing it and none of us want this. If you can give the crews hundreds of pounds for patches the membership fee isn't much so please pay for membership and the event will run.
Thanks.

Slightly off the subject.. Was there a USAF/US Navy patches collectors website, which showed and gave information on the patched? as I seem to remember?. I think it closed down, and if so is there another patches website which I can access which show the patches, which gives the information on the wings and squadrons/units?

Thanks to everyone today that made this a great event. From what i observed people enjoyed it, and there was loads of patches for everyone. Nice to put a few names to faces, and share experiences and stories. Some faces we haven't seen for 20 years there too
Roll on the next meeting.
Regards,
Tony
