Nice, but unfortunately the Diyarbakir 1991 - Desert Shield from BAF 8th Squadron is an reproduction.
How do I know, because I was there way back in 1991, got it straight from one of the pilots.
The real one has an cut-edge, this one has an merrowed edge.
The original one is highly probably Turkish made.

Went to Marham Families Day, as usual it was very well supported by the Lakenheath and Mildenhall lot CV-22B , HH-60G and a KC-135 all on the deck Bagged these two, must admit first time I've seen them

I have been wanting some of the 56th guys patches and those are crackers. I am going to miss them. Great haul as always!

Those are some great patches Gary! I will definitely look for some next time I'm up at Lakenheath. On a side note it seems strange that I posted 20 pics of my RIAT haul in the aviation patch thread earlier this week. And not one person has commented about any of them or their patch haul, or even anything. I'm not looking for praise or to show off. Honestly I'm just another collector that likes talking about patches and thought it might start up some patch collecting conversations. Don't mean to hijack your thread just wondering what's up.
