The Lynx has been operational with the Army since 1978 and has seen service in Bosnia, Sierra Leone, Iraq and Afghanistan. Various versions of the aircraft have been used during its time in service including the original AH.1, the upgraded Ah.7 and latterly the AH.9A.

We will be producing two versions of the Lynx Farewell coin. You can select from either the Army Air Corps (AAC) or Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) cap badges as we recognise those who have flown, moved and maintained one of the most revered helicopters of all time.
