BBC NEWS.....
An 82-year-old spectator has been flown to hospital after being injured when a parachutist at Weston Air Festival crashed into her during a display.

The parachutist - part of the RAF Falcons team - received minor injuries when he missed the drop zone.

The woman was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with a suspected fractured pelvis, a spokesman for South Western Ambulance Trust said.

What a great show. Shame about the foul ups but nothing not seen elsewhere. Must send thanks to the organisers and supporters of what will hopefully be a regular on the airshow calender.

On the negative, they really need to extend the speakers down the promenade, the seafront is not a 5 metre section next to the Tropicana! And TVOC really need to work out what and why it all went wrong, that was ridiculous.

To quote Sean Maffett as the Vulcan departed, 'hands up who wants the organiser to have the Vulcan back next year?'

Looks good to me!

I have confirmation that the bulldog was g-cbab/xx543:u. If anyone does have the serial of the Chinook i would be grateful. For interest, I understand that the two gazelles g-cbsk/zb627;a & g-zzle/xx436, landed on beach lawns on the saturday, are to be part of a 4 ship display team, drawn from. a pool of 8 for 2015.

Thanks - Martin. See you at the helicopter museum on "spotters day" in September?
