Distinct possibility of a heavy from Brize performing a flypast as well.

Appears the team are waiting to hear back from the RNHF for a flying display (Sea Fury/Swordfish?) and the RAF regarding statics (Hawk T.1/T.2 & Tucano)

Always like the Abingdon show. Lazy relaxed atmosphere on a bank holiday weekend. Normally try new photo equipment out or test new ideas. Always been one of my favourites. I have attended the night shoot for the last 3 years as well, really looking forward to the show now. Organisers to a tremendous job.

Highly commendable when organisers of a display are up front and honest with the cancellations rather than leaving them to the last minute. Disappointing cancellation but still a good show in prospect with good content.

Brilliant addition. Organisers have also said that the Herc will arrive early on the Sunday prior to the flying display and will be leaving as soon as the display is over. Well done guys.

Whats the road traffic like getting there? Do you have to get there early to avoid jams, also is it easy to get a viewing spot? also is there any danger of tickets selling out as im going to pay at the gate.

Traffic was mental last year due to the new layout. They've got two gates open this year, so hopefully that'll ease the congestion. Never had any issue finding a decent place to watch the show.

Great day at Abingdon, Drove straight in and parked with no traffic (pre booked). Left with no traffic again. Good content and weather was best in years. Well done to the organisers for a super day.

Exelant show, cooling down underneath the c-130 today was great, the departures was the best bit for me, we got to stand right next to the wasp starting up and leaving and seeing the herk come back made our day, it was very annoying though to get there early and que for two hours and see people loitering around the front of the que waiting to filter in with out queing, about 20 people did this and had sucsess
