No offence but what has this to do with RIAT?
Cheers

Nothing at all to do with RIAT....
That's why it's in the "Other Airshows & Events" section.
The guys at Avro Heritage have done a great job in securing memorabilia relating to the history of Woodford and Chadderton (where they made the sections for Vulcans, Lancaster et al) so some support from our Northern contributors would be fantastic.
Sadly, Woodford is no longer an active airfield and is under development, but the Heritage Centre has a restored Vulcan and tons of other interesting artefacts to view which chart the history of Avro and its achievements.
Woodford has a proud and often overlooked history and produced;- Avro Anson, Avro Vulcan, Avro Manchester, Avro Lancaster, Avro Lincoln, Avro Shackleton, Avro 748, Hawker Siddeley Nimrod (3 versions), Avro RJ/146 and BAe ATP.
In addition, all the Victor Tanker conversions were carried out at Woodford, plus a myriad of other contracts.
Not bad!

It was in the RIAT section when it was posted, hence my askingDroptank wrote:Nothing at all to do with RIAT....

OK Mark, sorry about that, I wasn't aware it had been moved, no offence meant.
