Evening all, it's update time!

Firstly, tickets to the fly-in will be £5 per person coming by road (includes parking). There will be a new exciting ground element to the event, with plenty to see and do, with some pleasure flying also.

The first additions are two Boeing Stearman PT-17s, coming to us from Priory Farm near Diss in Norfolk. These being N38940 and N68427 - stunning examples of the type, and to be joined by other as yet unannounced versions of the type.

We also have Auster AOP.9 G-BURR/WZ706 due to join us. It is one of the nicest Austers in the UK, owned and flown by Peter Gill, president of the International Auster Club.

Thirdly, we have several aircraft clubs planning to attend over the weekend. One being the Miles Aircraft Collection, and we look forward to seeing an array of Miles aircraft throughout the weekend.

Finally, we have plenty of very interesting aircraft to announce in the next few weeks that range in speed and power. Some may spit fire... some may be so unique you don't know of their existence... and some just make a noise that makes you smile when they thunder down the runway.

We can also announce that there should be no fewer than 11 Havards/T6s planned to join from all over the UK and Europe!

Have a great week.

Kind Regards
Cameron

Hey all!

Firstly for this week, we have a nice mix of yet more Scottish Aviation aircraft attending, with 1 Bulldog and 2 Pups added. This includes Beagle Pup G-AWEA, Bulldog T1 XX554 (G-BZMD), and the other Pup being G-AZEW. We are very much looking forward to these joining a number of other Bulldogs/Pups sporting a wide variety of different colour schemes.

Secondly, we hope you like Chinese, more specifically Chinese aircraft! Bob Davy will bringing in his lovely Nanchang CJ-6 (G-BVVG) from White Waltham, meaning two of these classic radial-engine designs will be on show during the weekend!

And lastly, we have a touch of beauty attending. No it isn't the organising team dressed in prom dresses, but in the form of the unmistakable Mystery Ship Type R (G-TATR). The aircraft will be arrivibg from her base at Turweston, and is an absolutely stunning replica built by the late, great, Ron Souch.

Unfortunately, we have to end this week on a sad note. All of us at the fly-in give our full support to Etihenne, owner of Yak-52 G-CBSS "Janie", who sadly had an incident whilst flying his aircraft this week. From all at fly-in, we wish him a very speedy recovery and our thoughts to his family at this very difficult time.

Kind Regards
Cameron Sys

Hi All!

We are pleased to announce that Piston Provost T.1 XF690 will be attending the fly-in. The Piston Provost is of course the predecessor to the Jet Provost, with XF690 being constructed in 1955.

Complementing our already impressive number of Yak-52s will be another example of this type. This particular aircraft, Blue 43, served with the paramilitary sport organisation of the Soviet Union, referred to as the DOSAAF.

Not only do we have a large number of Yak-52s attending, but we've got a healthy number of Scottish Aviation Bulldogs! XX626 is our 5th example of the type.

We can confirm that we have yet another example of the popular de Havilland Chipmunk visiting, with this latest example of the type, WK635, wearing Royal Navy markings that are identical to its "sister" aircraft, WK634.

Over the weekend, the AN-2 Club will be offering introductory pleasure flights in their Antonov AN-2, HA-MKF. These can be booked through: http://an2club.info/club-flights-wolver ... ndar_id=15

Have a great week!
