Is the above likely to be the final lineup, or could we see additions (not that there is anything wrong with what we have so far!)

Wasp 'XT787' has been cancelled, Sioux has been replaced by Beaver.

Sadly, don't think the Sea Vixen will be ready, great shame.

Just a quick word of warning for those of you using the M4 to get from the east / west to get to the A34 to go north. Believe the M4 will be closed (notices up) over next weekend between Newbury (13) and Theale (12) - anybody coming from the west I would recommend factoring more time to exit the motorway at 13 or going cross country from 14

Newbury and area was gridlocked when a similar closure was in place a couple of weeks ago

Cheers

Darren

Presumably the 'AH' C-47 is a substitute for the cancelled BBMF Dakota (which itself was a replacement for the Lancaster!). Is there a worthy substitute for the Sea Vixen to be added to the 'Flying' yet?
Even delaying Abingdon two weeks to allow for late over-winter maintenance hasn't helped to ease the Organisers of the aviation element to this event. You have to wonder what it takes for these aviation participant's to wake-up & realise they have to get ready earlier to maximise on reduced opportunities to display at a decimated number of events. Recent changes to CAP 403 have zero affect on the aircraft display if you haven't even air-tested it yet? :grr:
(Vixen for example?) Both the BBMF & Navy Wings have none of their star-acts even flyable at present, unless somebody can tell me differently?
Good work by the home-team to keep this show on the rails! You deserve a lucky-break with aircraft serviceability issues & particularly the weather? :'(

Gotta get me some of those pinky spectacles! Talking of glasses, I need a top-up to 'glass half full' too. ;)
Guess we'll know the weather when we're there?

Shipping & Heritage Airlines are planning to send their DH.90 Dragonfly, DH.87 Hornet Moth, DHC-1 Chipmunk and Rearwin Sportster for static display, they're due to arrive on Sunday morning.

Also appears the Ryan SCW, present at Old Warden last weekend will be attending.
