Cosford Airshow

Post by quid21 » Tue Feb 13, 2018 1:05 pm

Being a newbie to the Cosford Airshow, can someone explain whether it's possible to get from the display area to the museum, or is the museum closed for airshow visitors on the day?

The Museum has always been open when I've attended and is just a short walk from the flightline...

Can concur with the above - Admission is no extra indeed remains gratis throughout. Superb aircraft collection, in fact several large hangars full! Plus plenty of other interesting additions, bits and bobs. Easily 1hr+ to see all at a nice, steady pace.

Oh and not forgetting the cafe/refreshments area too :thumb: however on air show day itself, choices increase somewhat with the usual eateries and stands etc.

Enjoy :thumb: Also pretty hard to believe what with March fast approaching how quickly it comes around!

Apologies for the late reply, but thanks for your help, it is a great museum and am glad to be able to get to the museum on the day

Handy way of passing the time of you want to do something other than sit in a traffic queue at the end.
