Due Culdrose
Due into Culdrose this Tuesday (19th) are 2x HH-60s from Lakenheath, staying 'till the end of the week.
Next Tuesday (26th) a CAF CP-140 is due, again staying for the week.

Re: Due Culdrose
They are on their way. Miffed to see them low level approx 200ft down the valley sweeping left/right towards Crediton.
Came down just south of me, through the Bickleigh Pass and to the west.

They went over Honiton then snaked up here then snaked down there then (not Crediton way) and took an odd routing. Went over Brize apparently too. They sounded nice.... atleast a minutes warning before hand.
Should be at Culdrose around 1500 i would imagine.
Edit, thanks to Adam, they came from Exmouth direction first before here.
You lucky people down at Culdrose!

Hi all,
and to bouncyt and Biffodog - very well done, these are superb shots of all of these helos!!
From the posts of last night, I was aware that this was on the cards - kept a look out for them here today but with no luck!!
I wish we could have more of these (rare) PaveHawk visitors to CU - especially if they fly around and are out and about!! --Paul

The flight plan on the weekend was to dept Lakenheath at 1100, head west of salisbury, then Bridpirt and follow the coast via Plymouth. They were 30mins late when I saw them. The crews said that they enjoyed their trip down. Etd on friday is 1100 once more. Night flying scheduled for tonigjt as well as daytime to/from Mounts Bay
