Afternoon Isaac!

Was down there a couple of weeks ago, seemed to busy most days, aside from Friday. Don't expect many visitors however, mainly based aircraft.

Enjoy your holiday. :thumb:

Forgot to mention Newquay, regularly get stuff from Waddington, Brize and Northolt down there. You've also got the Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre with a nice range of aircraft (VC-10, BAC-11, Varsity, 2 Hunters)

I can only tell you it has a good viewing area that is adjacent to one of the runways ( They do use both runways simultaneously)

It is quite busy , after all you have Merlin, Hawks and Avengers. I would avoid Friday but you pay your money and take your chances.

Don't forget Newquay (has a nice preserved Shack)

If you are in Cornwall there are several other airfields that might interest you :

Predannack - satellite of Culdrose on the Lizard. Not easy to get at but over flights by Merlins and Sea King ASaC7 s are usual.
Lands End/St Just - flights to and from the Scilly Isles.
Perranporth - GA and parachute training.
Cardinham/Bodmin. just off the A30 north of Bodmin. GA very friendly if approached for access to the hangars.

As has been mentioned Newquay and the Heritage museum are well worth the visit.

Enjoy your holiday.
