service history of XV697 and XV671

Post by Ajeem » Wed Feb 17, 2016 8:18 pm

Hello, can somebody help me in providing the full service history of the two Sea king ASaC 7's that visited Leeuwarden AFB in Holland last January. These were XV671 and XV697. I am preparing an article on this type of Sea King for our colourfull quarterly Full Stop magazin of the Aviation Group Leeuwarden. Thank you in advance for any cooperation: Adam Meijer at Leeuwarden, co-editor of the magazin.

Adam, best to find a copy of the Air Britain book, Helicopters of the Fleet Air Arm, that will give you the service history from delivery to the books publication date, after that it's a question of checking the various magazines such as MAR

If you can't get a copy of the Helicopter book I could help you out with the information but not until the week after next as I am currently in the USA and my book is in the UK
