Is the bridle path through the rw27 naughty field 'officially' closed for public use again this year?

Thanks for the confirmation airtyphoon.
Just to put the record straight the Portuguese marked Chipmunk is privately owned not a RNHF airframe, although the generous owner does allow RNHF pilots to use it

To answer an earlier question the museum car park as usual will be used as an entry point for trade and exhibitors on Friday and Saturday, however there is plenty of parking on the sportsfield opposite, left hand side of the road to Little Yeovilton(where the Gazelle is displayed outside 'Gazelle House')

Mozzer....as far as I am aware, and its only my thinking so may be wrong, the bridle path runs from the old farm building gateway to a gateway in the corner of the field, via a bridge crossing the river. I guess its then up to the farmer if he wants to chase us off his land?
I know the last few years have seen the field nearest the runway threshold ...the field with the lights in...taped off and the farmer has been running about in a quad bike there. If its the same as last time, then the field over the river was fine to sit in.

I caught a glimpse of the contents of H14 today. I hope they put it somewhere good for photography - lots of people will be saying "Ahhh I remember when....", and others will be saying "I wish I was around when..."

Being told now that they are going to be very strict on the field access at the 27 end this weekend. Anyone heared the same? Is it worth just taking a look as its only a short cycle ride for me from the camp site.

No harm in looking...

Voyager cancelled apparantly, with the Catalina added to the flying display.

Looks like the same as last year to me. Sheep field bridleways closed, but you can still walk down all the roads, and use the bridleway from the Weir to the back of the hangars.

I think you mean 13 hangar Malcolm, yes it must look good from a distance, its been towed out this morning onto the old North South runway where they park the Navy aircraft every year, no doubt it will have a might y Grob parked in the way of a good picture.

Glad I saw the GWDT at Farnborough!
Sadly Farnborough isn't the place to see GWDT due to the ridiculous display height minima applied to even light aircraft . They were so high that aside from hailstones I feared they might get meteorite damage!
