Shaping up well. To bill it as one of the 'Greatest Gathering of Warbirds since the Second World War' is rather gilding the lily somewhat, particularly compared with American Shows. That notwithstanding, it looks good tho'.

Sorry MRTT, have we had the big announcement as in what was in the original list of RAF aircraft now confirmed or is there still more to come. Very very impressive already but your comment was after the list with these already listed.
Just booked my tickets for Sunday.

MRTT posted the big announcement announcement on Sun Jun 24. RAF announcement was made on Fri Jul 20 a month after that post. I believe MRTT is updating the list in the first post as additions are made.

Hi Brian. Yes as I had really worked out, as stated the RAF editions were in the original post but probably not actually confirmed.
Can't believe this line up, too many of my own favourites there for me to pick any real stand outs. think there is something there for everyone. :thumb:
Well done IWM and all involved for bringing all this together after a busy season already.

Lancaster, Red Arrows and Typhoon 4 were the only RAF aircraft listed in the original IWM list. Just checked. ;)

I added the F-35/Tornado etc to the list after the announcement was made, not at the end of May.

Presumably as the show has a B.O.B. theme, I hope we see a return to the skies of the three Hispano. Was very jealous that they were flying together last month and couldn't make it.Going to be interesting what formations will be created with such an array of aircraft to choose from. Might also be investing in a flightline walk as well. Also very much looking forward to seeing the Puma fly as well. We forget these often common place airframes and then all of a sudden its too late.
Think Brian will be busy during the run up to this event, will be watching with eager eyes.
