Frankly, having been to Legends today (see my comments in the relevant thread), that lot looks very "same again" and thus potentially "boring" - probably changed my mind about going to it.

Well...they will be the same, it'a a Battle of Britain themed show, full of Spitfires, Hurricaines and Bucheons / Me109s...what else would there be?

Same can be said of Legends, it is always likley to be mostly the same...the aircraft are Flying Legends, which means you will always see Sally B...Spitfires...Hurricaines...P51s etc, these are the Legends.

If you love these aircraft and what they represent...then it doesn't matter how many times you see them... I will be at the Batlte of Britain September show with a tear in my eye and my heart full of pride when these iconic aircraft and the pilots they represent once more take to the skies.

Lest We Forget.

Opinions differ - and obviously mine differ from those of many others - enough said, and I will not comment further.

Oh dear. Same old Duxford. Same types we have been looking at for years and years. Boring or what???. I suppose some of us will have to drag ourselves along to hear the same old Merlins at full throttle, the same old brilliant flying, etc.etc. or we could stay at home and watch a Premiership football match....................Now THAT would be boring. I'll go for the aeroplanes, always!!!!.   { i do appreciate that we don't all like the same things tho'] :)

A movie I made, superb day but yes the catering prices were a bit on the expensive side! Next time, picnic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G99a7TIoFpg

If airshow food were any good and the prices were "reasonable" then we might buy it, but, whenever we go to one nowadays, we take some sanies &/or wraps (from Sainsburys, very good!) plus coke, because the (generally) rotten greasy food (lukewarm bacon in a cold bap with no butter, anyone? [Duxford about a year ago] ) and high prices are what we have come to expect - and GET -at Duxford and mostly elsewhere.
