IWM WebFormer SR-71 pilot Colonel Richard Graham and renown Blackbird expert Paul Crickmore will present a joint talk entitled “Rainbows, Oxcarts and a Senior Crown” focusing on the flying operation of the SR-71 Blackbird, the world’s fastest jet aircraft.
Colonel Graham will talk about his experiences of flying the SR-71 while Mr Crickmore will cover the aspect of the aircraft development.
The talk will take place at 11am in the Marshall Auditorium in AirSpace. Immediately following the talk, there will be an opportunity for book signings.
At 2.30pm, Colonel Graham will host a walk-around tour of the SR-71 Blackbird that he previously flew from RAF Mildenhall, which is on display in the American Air Museum.
Following the tour, there will be a further opportunity for book signings.
