B52 display

Post by roadstar1845 » Fri Jun 08, 2012 9:27 pm

Any confirmation on the rumour that a B 52 will actually display at Waddo rather than be static?

Wouldn't get to excited last years flypast was shocking! flew far to high! & no I dodn't expect a kife edge 100foot flypast!
But please fly low enough so its worth pointing camera skywards :P

Good point. I remember the Dutch Airbus and F-16 flypast several years ago, that was done at a decent height.

I think it was just a cynical attempt to get people to buy tickets! I don't think it had any intention of doing a flypast! Still, it was a great weekend without it anyway!

Incorrect, it was due to fly in to Fairford via VLAD, and perform flypasts at Waddo and Lyon(?), sit in the static for RIAT before flying a few days at Farnborough. However things didnt work out.
