Got my tickets last night for both the Friday and Saturday shows as the only ones I can do.
Accommodation...well I think one man and his dog has already pre-booked. Ended up with a Premier Inn in Oxford!!
Still, closer than travelling back to North Derbyshire.

Already looking forward to it.
Cheers

Well that has to be a new record, it isn't even November 2017 and the thread is already on the second page!! At least it was December before that milestone was reached last year!

Can't believe people are already moaning about the cost of P&V...it's only a tenner and it's not like it's any different to last year...Guess we can't please everyone

If people are having a problem in finding accommodation the Stratton House Hotel in Cirencester has some space left

little info: Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, Canada and UAE will attend with aircraft.

next to that.... rumour goes that the USAF will send out a/c from squadrons that used to fly a 100 years ago too e.g. 107th FS, 1st. RS, 2nd ARS, 9th BS etc. etc....

If anyone is still looking for accommodation there are a couple of pub-inns in Faringdon that I believe still have rooms: Bell Inn and The Old Crown. I've used the Bell Inn previously, it's nothing fancy but a decent family-run hotel.

The town is about 15km from Fairford but it's a very simple route, one left turn involved and otherwise just follow the main road. It also has a pretty decent Tesco for stocking-up on grub!

The point is that for the first time ever it's an event day which is not included in Mach 3 so it is indeed different to last year, which included *every* arrivals day. Now that the precedent has been set, what else will they decide is an "add-on" instead of being included in the "ultimate enthusiast's package"*?

* for diminished values of ultimate
