2018 RIAT-100 yrs of the RAF. Flypast list

Post by C24 » Mon Jul 24, 2017 4:43 pm

:halo:
Head in the clouds, perhaps but some of you may wish to have a laugh and join in.
The aim of the game is to compile a list of aircraft that have been on charge since the 1st April, 1918; for each type indicate where an example is located in this country & whether it is still flying or just static.

For starters, I'll offer the Hind? K7985 from the Shuttleworth collection which is still in flying condition.

P.s. If we reach 100 perhaps the organisers might put on a 100 aircraft flypast.

The single seat Gnat under rebuild at North Weald. Didn't see service, but DID fly in R.A.F. colours. For static of course.

A certain XH558 & City of Lincoln in the same frame (flying of course) with all the BBMF close behind.
