Re: RIAT 2010 Checklist
Hi everyone,
Did anyone notice if there was any mistakes in the checklist this year. Im pretty sure all the Static was ok, because i always check, but as a user of a camcorder its very difficult to get the serials of the aircraft on the flying side of the airfield or if they are flying. I basically use a process of elimination method. i.e. If i see 2 Raptors on the flying side of the airfield, and there are 2 Raptors in the Checklist then i will tick them off, even though i dont know the actual serial. Another example is the Swedish Gripens, i saw there was 2 on the checklist but i only saw 1 all weekend. The other i think was hidden right at the back of the flying side. In this situation i would tick neither because i dont know which one was flying and which one i didn't see, and then i find out the serials using websites and forums. (Though i got lucky on this occasion and did get the flying Gripen serial because it was so enormouse on the tail, you couldn't miss it. The only mistake i think i found was there was 2 spitfires in the Flying display that had the same serial and code and both from different places.
Sorry for rambling on, but any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, James
