One wonders if that 'modified Global 6000' could be a Cambridge based example?

Nice little update with a few rare aircraft mixed in for good measure and not including the sea-king which is a replacement for the p-3 orion that is 23 aircraft added to the static park.

Has to be said, the static this year is at it's strongest for a number of years. Should make arrivals/departures busier. :thumb:

With the Bear's having just retired, and the MiG-23's long gone, i would say that would be a little tricky TBF. ;)

I expected the Irish to send the CASA, though it will be nice to get to see the PC9 up close, seen them display many times, but never actually gotten up close to one.

Taken from the aircraft information posted on the RIAT website:

"This example, offered by Bombardier, has been undergoing modification by Marshalls of Cambridge."

A very surprising addition

I'm led to believe the Scorpion will be the second production acft, demonstrating its new bits n bobs to those that might be interested in operating the jet.

Lets hope so, unless they plan to bring it over, it was the original airframe which went to Paris by the look of it viewtopic.php?f=8&t=147618

LTG 61 have a stunning disbandment C-160, fingers crossed it's that one at RIAT https://cr-photos.com/2017/06/09/ltg-61 ... rday-2017/

Also hope they bring all their disbandment patches , which have started to appear online

One of the USAF Thunderbirds has flipped and crashed at a show it seems at Dayton International Airport. One pilot is out, police escort to hospital. Looks like it was on the runway taxiing after landing and got hit by a massive gust of wind flipping the plane.

Oh no...another darn "Tweet"! :S
Aren't we still waiting on Tom/DBH confirming the last "Gods" tweet?

For them to tweet about it must have them pretty excited too so hopefully it's a good update and in the flying. It's been a while since we've had a flying confirmation plus I think there's still room for a few more!

The next 2 weeks could be quite fruitful for updates!

Either way...roll on 2 weeks folks!
