Townsend Farm camping

Hi all, could anyone give any thoughts on Townsend Farm camping as just booked 4 nights. Usually stay at Flyby but they say there fully booked this year. Any views on Townsend would be greatly appreciated.

Ive stayed there the last 3 years great if landing on 27s right under approach can get some lovely photos from there and around a 10-15mins walk to entrance on show day god facilities with ht food daily toilets and shower rooms and a bar what more could you ask for.

I've been three years in a row. I highly recommend pitching up close to the showers as you'll have quick access to them in a morning before the rush starts.
There's a bar which does burgers outside too at the other side of the site.

It's pretty good, they could do with a few more toilets though. It's great for seeing arrivals before and after the show.

Not staying there this year though, trying a hotel in Gloucester and driving in each day.

What's the view if watching the display from the campsite??

I am considering booking a night. I have a ticket for Saturday but I would stay the Sunday if the view from the campsite was half decent
